My mother-in-law knit the patternworks feather and fan sweater for me. She is 84 and has many years of knitting experience. However, this sweater caused her to spit many bad words, and she was ready to toss the entire project behind the TV and leave it there forever! But, she finished it and I have it. It is absolutely beautiful, however, it does not hang right. The front, where the two sides button together falls down to the middle of my rib cage. It is way to loose and floppy. Any suggestions?
