Today was our 8th wedding anniversary.
I can hardly believe it’s been that long.
Our marriage has weathered its share of storms, but my life is better with him in it.
We celebrated
with balloons on the ceiling
and chocolate chip cookies.

Congratulations on 8 years Jen! It is an accomplishemnt to be proud of – funny how so few people tell you how much work marriage or motherhood really take – but I wouldn’t want to live my life without either. 8 years was a comfortable year us… hard to believe we’re working on 12 over here, or even scarier that you and I met almost exactly 19 years ago in a little band room in Pasadena High… Sigh… I think I’m getting old.
