And Here’s Your Cake

So, the party I mentioned the other day was a tie-dye party. I’ve never done tie-dye before, but I’m sure we’ll do it again! And next time, there will be yarn involved.

(haha, that last one looks a little like it was in a horror movie, doesn’t it?)

  1. Excellent tie-dyeing and most excellent models. I am an expert on the tie-dyeing by the way, being a groundbreaker, back in the day…

    Not sayin’ which day….

  2. Cute boys! The shirts are cute too, looks like a good time was had by all. Love you all! Mom

  3. Okay, I’ve done tie-die, but nothing this cool! How do you get all the bright colors? The white shirt? The swirlies? AHHHH!!! Must know.

And dude… where have you been? You’re never on chat any more… :(

  4. Ditto to above comments-especially need the answer how they look so “professionally” dyed. I’ve done them before, but they definitely looked homemade. See you soon!

  5. What a cute idea for a party. I’ll bet the kids loved it. Heck! I think it’s a great idea for a grown up party, too. My college student daughter would probably like to have one.

  6. Those came out great! I did them years ago with my daughter. Now she’s about to be a junior in high school and got the sudden urge to do them again. Did them while I was at work. Will not describe the bathroom when I got home. She did the 3 shirts she bought, then went in her closet and got 2 boybeaters, 2 pairs of socks, 3 pairs of panties. now she wants to dye a sock blank from knit picks so I can then make her a pair of socks. I think this is how it starts…….

  7. great tiedyes!! great kids too!

I had to tiedye a tee-shirt last year as I’d managed to get poppy pollen on it and it wouldn’t wash out. It’s now a swirl of pink blue and lilac and one of my favourite tees!
