Doozer, our cat. And today is his birthday.
Last Valentine’s Day, a Nor’easter left much of Connecticut buried in snow (I think I measured 36″ on our deck). A few days later, a young cat was found on the street, attempting to birth her kittens in a snowbank. Luckily, a good Samaritan scooped up the inexperienced mother and her kittens and brought them home, keeping them safe and warm until they were old enough to adopt. Doozer was the last of the kittens to find a home and we are so glad he waited for us. He has been a wonderful addition to our family. Happy birthday, Doozer!
