Corporate Kids

Am I the only one disturbed by this article about public schools buying curriculum from corporations for $16 a pop so they can learn how to gamble on the stock market?

  1. Actually, I think it’s a great lesson. When kids think of the stock market, all they see is being rich, but it’s not like that. As far as I’m concerned, real life skills/lessons are really lacking in schools. Stocks are such a huge part of our economic trade. I think understanding the stock market is really important. As for who made the curriculum, as long as it’s a good one, I don’t have a problem with it. I could also be an idiot though, so yanno.
