We stayed up entirely too late last night, as we are still trying to adjust to Daylight Saving Time, and mornings around these parts have been rather rough the last few days. So rough, in fact, that we had convinced ourselves (thanks to help from the calendar! stupid calendar!) that our firstborn had a doctor’s appointment today. Not only did he not have an appointment with the doctor we thought he had an appointment with, he didn’t even have an appointment with the doctor whose name we had written down! In other words, we dragged ourselves from our bed before we were ready, got the kids ready and out of the house, and drove from one end of town to the other FOR NO REASON AT ALL. We really don’t understand why DST is shredding our ass so thoroughly this year, but it really is. And we are not lying.
In other news, we have finished the body of our sweater and have started a sleeve. Pictures possibly tomorrow? Or maybe even Friday? Further, we have frogged and restarted the sock class socks and are considering frogging and restarting again. First they were too big, and now we don’t particularly care for the acute pointiness of the toe. We hope our students understand if we don’t have a whole 7-3/4 inches of sock to show them on Saturday when we start work on the heel turn.
Lastly, here’s a picture from our aquarium trip which amuses us greatly.
See you tomorrow!
